This privacy policy governs your use of the software application MyShiftWork (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Vozye Pty Ltd. The Application is a calendar specially designed for shift workers.
What Information Does the Application Obtain and How Is It Used?
User Provided Information
When you download, install, and use the MyShiftWork application, we collect certain information to deliver and improve our services. Registration is optional but recommended to fully access all features and to securely manage your subscription.
When you register or interact with the app, you may provide:
- Basic Account Information: Your name, email address, and password, used to create and manage your account.
- Subscription Details: Information related to your subscription status (active, inactive, plan type), verified securely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment information; all payments are handled by Google Play.
- Support & Communication: Information you provide when contacting us for help or feedback, such as your email address and the details of your query.
- App Usage Information: Data you enter within the app to manage your shift schedules and preferences. This data stays on your device unless you create a registered account for sync and recovery purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account.
- To verify your subscription status and enable premium features.
- To personalize your app experience.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To send essential service notifications (such as subscription reminders or critical updates).
- To occasionally inform you about app improvements, only where allowed by applicable privacy laws.

Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, your location, your phone camera and gallery access, you contact permission, your play store email address and information about the way you use the Application.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This Application does collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Yes. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- With our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
- if Vozye Pty Ltd is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.

Automatic Data Collection and Advertising
We may work with analytics companies to help us understand how the Application is being used, such as the frequency and duration of usage. We work with advertisers and third-party advertising networks, who need to know how you interact with advertising provided in the Application which helps us keep the cost of the Application free. Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by the Application, including, but not limited to, the unique identification ID of your mobile device and your mobile telephone number. To protect the anonymity of this information, we use an encryption technology to help ensure that these third parties can’t identify you personally. These third parties may also obtain anonymous information about other applications you’ve downloaded to your mobile device, the mobile websites you visit, your non-precise location information (e.g., your zip code), and other non- precise location information in order to help analyze and serve anonymous targeted advertising on the Application and elsewhere. We may also share encrypted versions of information you have provided in order to enable our partners to append other available information about you for analysis or advertising related use.

What are my opt-out rights?
There are multiple opt-out options for users of this Application:
Opt-out of all information collection by uninstalling the Application: You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Opt-out from the use of information to serve targeted advertising by advertisers and/or third-party network advertisers: you may at any time opt-out from further allowing us to have access to your location data by disabling location on your device.
Other Data We Collect
- Android Device ID: We collect your device's Android ID as a unique identifier. This helps us recognize your device for managing account access, troubleshooting, and maintaining security.
- Email Address (Contact Permission): We collect your email address using contact permission solely to verify your subscription status (active or inactive). This ensures your subscription is properly linked to your account and can be restored across your devices.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at support@myshiftworkapp.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.
What Do We Collect and Why?
We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide you with a smooth and secure experience. Keeping your data safe and confidential is our top priority.
When you contact our support team, your app version and basic device information may be included automatically. This helps us quickly understand your environment and respond more effectively to your support requests.
Why We Ask for Your Play Store Email Address:
When you first open the app, we ask for your consent to access your Play Store email address. This is important for the following reasons:
- To verify your subscription status and determine whether your account has access to premium features.
- To sync your account data securely to our servers, so your subscription status can be restored if you reinstall the app or switch devices.
- To assist with subscription restoration in case you face any issues.
We do not use your email address for marketing purposes without your consent, and we do not share your personal data with third parties.
Backup And Restoration of Data to Cloud
To use our cloud and other features (such as the cloud backup for your shifts), you will need to provide your email address which is used as a unique username for your account. This is paired with a password that you choose to make sure your account and data stay secure. Never tell anyone your password!
Your backups are stored in our secure cloud system against your account so can't be accessed by anyone but you (using your registered email and password). We monitor all activity too, so if we spot anything suspicious, we can deal with it quickly.
Restore Subscription
We request access to your Play Store email address (through contact permission) to help identify your account and restore your active subscription.
This permission is necessary to:
- Verify your subscription status on our servers.
- Restore your premium access if you reinstall the app, switch devices, or encounter an issue.
- We no longer offer one-time in-app purchases. The restore process applies only to active subscriptions managed through Google Play.
Note : We do not access your contacts list or use your email address for any purpose other than verifying and restoring your subscription.
Live Synchronization
We get your profile information and data for live synchronization. The data includes your pattern, shift, event, holiday, paydays, notes, labels, rotations and rotation dates.
Synchronization of Data for Web View
Apart from that, we save the data that you have provided us for synchronization purposes. By synchronization we mean, transferring of your data from mobile device to our cloud server, so you can view your data on the web portal.
SOS SMS
The MyShiftWork app SMS feature permits you to send a SOS message to your known/ known person/ users as per your desired contact number. This SMS contain your location information.
The SMS and data which may incur an extra charge for sending message or accessing your location as per your network provider plan/ features. If you're unsure what those charges may be, you should ask your service provider before using the Application or the Services.
SOS Email
MyShiftWork app email feature allows you to send a SOS email message to your known/ unknown person/ users as per your desired email address. This email also contains your location information.
Geographical Location
This Application does collect precise information about the geographical location of your mobile device. The purpose of collecting information is to create a specific location and also to share the exact location with your desired individual/ person via SMS & through email. The geographical location is used to share your exact location and the application is only used by user to access his/ her location being granted by the admin/ user by using the application.
Platform Services
You use of MyShiftWork app's Platform Services or any part of thereof, is governed by the following terms ("Platform Services Terms") in addition to the Terms. Platform Services include but are not limited to Third Party Content/ Services or e-commerce services made available through the Application.
Any capitalized term which has not been defined in these Platform Services Terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the MyShiftWork app's Terms of Service.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@myshiftworkapp.com
We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
Measures We Take to Ensure Applications Data Security
MyShiftWork app is hosted on a dedicated server and data is maintained on separate database to enhance performance and security.
- Data in-transmit is encrypted using SSL/TLS certificates.
- Data at rest is encrypted using Transparent Data Encryption on SQL Server Databases.
- Web Access Firewall (WAF) is used to protect any unwanted intrusion.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Google Play Store. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in Spain. If you reside outside Spain your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under Spain privacy standards.
